Hook, line, and sinker.
I see that ZDNet and Cnet.com swallowed the casinos's PR hook, line, and sinker. Right in the opening paragraph "counterfeiters" and "card counters" are lumped together.

The casino's attitude is "if you win, you're cheating". Only the casino can win. The difference between cheating and learning a skill is irrelevant to them.

More and more, I'm thinking the old Fundamentalist opposition to gambling as a vice was correct. The gambling industry doesn't provide "entertainment" as they like to claim. They are parasites.
