The comprehension problem you had is...
...that nowhere in the statement did the Microsoft spokesman imply that Microsoft delayed pathing the issues. In summary he stated there was exploit code for some of the issues they were patching but he didn't know of any widespread attacks. You infered something from that statement something that was not statedand that is not true! That is a classic comprehension problem!
