The only FUD factory here is you
So are you BitByte or No_Ax with a new pen name? MSFT Boy.

Anything bolted to the OS that opens the machine up to be run remotely is, by extension, an OS vulnerability.

That breaching an application can give the cracker administrative priviledges IS an OS problem. A slow, bloated, insecure, expensive, spyware infected OS in this case.

Hey, I support MSFT products all day long. And laugh all the way to the bank. It's easy work and thanks to Trusted Computing, there's no end of stuff that keeps breaking. All my web sites run on Linux. Other than content changes it's rare I have to mess with anything.

So nobody's trying to take away your copy of XPee, fan boy. But we do reserve the right to point and laugh when your porked Windows box starts sendng your credit card numbers to the Russian mafia, in between reporting your surfing habits to Claria and spewing spam, of course.
