User "Ignoragce" is weak link?
Would you give your secure personal infomation like bank card PIN number and password to someone who comes to you door, or calls you on the phone, even if he or she appears to be a "trusted" (now think of this!!) government represenative or banking/financial person???? You would NOT! It seems that we need to educate the public reguarding the Internet. It is no more (nor will ever be) secure than the example above! Yes - we do need to continue to make surfing the net more safer, and the the same applies to our homes and personal and public relationships. The ablity of the Internet to connect us in a way that is beyond anything we have ever encountered (in not to distant past) makes it a great invention - and a (potentialy)great danger (to personal bodily harm and privacy). It is (I think) because the Internet is a tool to OPENLY SHARE infomation that makes it a World consciousness altering experience. The next important step is to educate, and not lie to or confuse the public (especially our children and Elders) as to what the Internet IS, and is NOT! My thinking is: The more Open we become - the less can be hidden from us.
