Backpedalling
Just read all the posts above and see the backpedalling. All of a sudden the 'lowest common denominator' isn't good enough, people demand more, and usability is suddenly more important than security. This flaw doesn't affect everyone, so it is tolerable.

Bet the farm, if MS had implemented the standard also, this 'flaw' would be blamed on IE.
