SuSE releases critical patches

Some one explain.

I used Suse a while back, and no longer do, so I been out of the loop.

But how does Suse do their updates? Is it stuck in the bundled once a week thing (like in the article) or can you pick and auto-update as each package is updated by the owners of the software.

I prefer the later. IMO, it is actually better when you got thousands of separate software owned by different groups. Especially since you got so many combinations of such software as you go from user to user. And hope Suse isn't stuck in the former.
