What a great idea.
There are so many users who still don't know how to install anything unless it comes on a CD and auto-runs. Here's what I hope for the CD:

- Make it auto-run when the user inserts it.
- Instead of applying all patches immediately, let it bring up a user-friendly interface that separates the patches into categories; critical, recommended, goodies, etc. (a la Windows Update), and allows the user to check off which ones to install.
- Make it all free! Of course they'll probably have to charge for shipping and handling, but there should be no contractual conflicts- in other words, my family and friends should be able to borrow my security CD and use it on their systems.
- It should include an even more user-friendly version of the Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer.
- They should make it available for free at checkout counters, etc. like those AOL CDs.
