Was something broken? YES
you tell me -- 'suppose' your automobile's manual states '...depressing the brake pedal while traveling in excess of 50 mph will result in the automobile immediately taking control of steering and initiating what amounts to an attempt to make a 90 degree left turn....' . And suppose your auto works as advertised - should it be considered broken or a feature/or a valid function of the automobile.
