Yes but..
..I can also factor out all the anti-intrusion junk (AV, anti-spyware, anti-trojan, etc.), plus all my time spent on maintaining my computer. Windows (even its latest bastardization, XP) needs an antivirus, firewall, at least two to three anti-spyware apps, and weekly pacthing just to work properly. Even as fast as all these scanning apps are, overall, they take some real time. At work, I'm spending at least close to an hour or two just getting my clients' PCs functional again. It really is becoming LUDICROUS. And these people are starting to really complain. And you know what: I don't blame them. I'll call a user and say I need to remove whatever latest fun black doodad off their machine, and I wind up getting back to them HOURS later. Meanwhile, they've lost close to a DAY'S worth of real work. For the home user this is a cute diverson, but for the business user this has become unacceptable. PERIOD.

OK. Provide me with a link PROVING this then. What you also don't realize is that Apple provides you with a few hundred dollars worth of good quality software with your Mac. With a dull Dell box you just get Windows. Does a default Dell Windows box give you software to set up your own music studio? Ummm..Nah. Can you import and edit digital photos? Nah. Can you..no, according to you this kinda stuff doesn't count. Until of course you spend real bucks for what I got outta the box..Enjoy your Windows. Just realize all it takes is a litle rock smashing it for you to have a whole fun day putting that Window(s) back up again..;-)
