ok, how about someone you know?

if a friend is infected and their email address appears in the from field and you open their attachment, what then? i cleaned a windows computer i built for a friend after they opened something stupid and a virus infected like 700+ files. there were a total of 8 distinct virii. each one had its own scale of difficulty removing and one kept coming back no matter what i did. but i finally spanked it. i havent had virii on my own puters but my friends and family bring me their puters often because they get them.
linux is great.
