Carl Rapson asked - "What happens if a web site 'erroneously' gets on the blacklist? If Microsoft were to build such functionality into IE, would we trust MS to maintain the list?"

Sure, and since Firefox does not have it, Netscape is just adding it, and IE has had it all along, all MS would have to do is to start sending out a list of sites to add and they would be done.
