Heh heh heh...I'm certain that similar words were said in
1930 Germany....NOT however 1939 Germany! Now Carl I'm
NOT saying this is you..but when I have talked to conservatives
in the past they claim that things like Gay Marriage are a step on
what they call the "slippery slope" meaning that first the Gays
get married and marriage rights and eventually as things go
down hill our entire society collapses from decay and evil. I
don't agree with the idean that Gays being married will do
this..however I do recognize that in some cases the slippery
slope has existed in the past. Germany can be a FINE example
of this. DO you honestly think the German people as UNHAPPY
with their situation as they were would still have voted in Hitler
and his crowd "IF" they were told up front. "Hey we are going to
slaughter MILLIONS and take away all your individual freedoms"
Heck even AFTER they were voted in...it still took Hitler and
company some time to get going into full GEAR! They still had
to destroy vestiges of freedom with in Germany and even FAKE
an attack from Poland to justify starting a war.

So "IF" the slippery slope is good for the goose it is good for the
gander is it not?"
