100 Times Less than Windoz!
The excuse that software complexity causes the inherent flaws is ridiculous in view of the fact that Open Source is 100 times less flawed than Windoz.
M$ needs for find out how Open Source does it, and do their victims a favor and rewrite their code so its not so virus attractant. But, I wonder if they really want to improve the code and make it less of a target. Conspiracy theory? Just an observation. The anti-virus companies are making a bundle on these flaws. Would they want M$ to change for the better?
The Open Source track record proves that code can be written much, much better. And, until M$ does improve their stuff, many people are going to continue to migrate to another OS.
I'll bet the M$ programmers would love to get rid of the marketing people and write the good code they know how to write.
Until comsumers wise up and say no to crappy OS's that are wide open to any jerk that wants to play games with it, we'll keep on seeing all these virus attack reports. The virus writers must be sitting back and laughting until they fall down because consumers keep on acting like a crazy person: continuing to do the same thing over and over (using the same crappy OS.), and expecting different results!
