VIRUS WRITERS and MALWARE
I believe the writers have almost closed the gap between spyware and virus protection. At inception, I was using Norton Internet Security (NIS), EZ Armor virus and Zone Alarm. I couldn't keep my system clean (adware, spyware, not viruses). I solved the problem and ramped up my protection 1000 percent by using Spybot, McAfee Anti Spy... and Microsoft Anti Spy (Beta). Now I have very few problems. Zone Alarm(ZA) prevents Malware from getting out. MS Spy and ZA stop most from coming in. MS daily auto scans remove the one or two item I do get. Actually MS, Spybot and McAfee report and remove equally. Spybot, does well on registry, but fails on file removal. McAfee fails on guard duty. I will drop it when it expires. - Zorro
