Will Technology ever catch up?
Not being an IT professional, I can only offer my opinion from experiences I have had. Several viruses have come to my system and have been quickly removed or deactivated by newer updates of the two programs I an currently running, Norton and avast. I am almost daily receiving updates to both programs to deal with the variants of known malware and these seem to be successful in keeping my system clean. The best solution that I can think of is when the creators of these new virus strains are caught, since they seem to have the intelligence level to seek out and manipulate weaknesses in the various interfaces, find an incentive to have them employ their talents to develop counter attacks. Since they seem to be one step ahead of the developers, get them on our side and maybe we can at least get a half step jump on the newer virus attack methods. D. Keyes
