A good start, but a long ways to go yet ...
For now, every spammer shut down has at least two more taking his/her place. These lawsuits and court orders will need to become much more frequent in order for the spammers, especially the mid-size operations, to question staying in the business. For now, the odds are still in their favor, to shut them down they need to feel there's a big enough risk of someone going after them.

Of course, even then, we'll still have the spam flowing in from Asian, Russian, and other overseas sources. The government needs to put more pressure on some of those countries to take spam seriously as well.
