Best way not get hooked is. . .
The best way not to get hooked is not to answer the phishing expedition letter. If there is a problem always go your providers (banking, lending, whatever) check in with their sites and if there are questions use their contacts (even by phone if need be and maybe best) not the links in the phishing letter. It also goes with out saying have good firewalls, spyware/adware and anti-virus software.
