Yes,l way too many problems with keeping things secret.
The secrecy thing is what got MS in trouble to start with. Keeping vulnerabilities secret will not save them. Part of the problem is that the need to remove a lot of bad code (like ActiveX), but refuse to do that because it would reduce lock-in. Microsoft is yelling at people talking about flaws at the same time they are putting you at risk so that can maintain their monopoly.
