RE: "FBI doesn't want to follow the law?"
So basically what your saying is crimials should still be allowed to steal your identity online. Adding the the burden of insurance fraud.

Statics makes it more expensive to have insurance, out of pocket to every person with some form of insurance adds a cost of 5-20% on top of what you're paying now. Identity theft is worse then declaring bankruptcy because of the fact people can take your credit cards, duplicate your license, get your retirement benefits.

I don't believe in big brother and so much government oversight, but you have to understand the concept of, you can drive a car and basically kil a lot of people or ruin someone else's life if you're not careful. But there are rules and regulations that are set in place to make sure driving is enjoyable and safe without removing your freedom.

But when your online, if someone steals your credit card information then you have major problems. Not just in someone maxing out your credit card but who can you go to? No one really, and anyone you find, you'll be spending months trying to clear your name and your credit.

I look at it this way, there's a lot of government rules and laws that protect you while you're in your car, when you computer crashes do you arrest microsoft for causing it? Maybe atleast be a bit responsible for it? No, why's that, one thing to remember is the E.U.L.A. End User License Agreement which says if your computer kills you they are not legal responsible, and well they aren't.

""The businesses can insist on due judicial process--the equivalent of an online search warrant..."

Oh no, not due process....

It's clear that the FBI and law enforcement in general do not like the Constitutional protections of our rights. If they had their way it's clear that they do away with them.

Too bad FBI. Work WITHIN the law for a change.""
