The Windows architecture is well known by all ...
Windows is literally built around a system registry. It always has been and still is. This makes for great speed and efficiency. The problem with this is that any corruption in this data file can an does affect the whole system in unpredictable ways. The Unix varients, on the other hand, make use of human readable, text orriented, discreet configuration tables. If one of these gets corrupted, it affects ONLY the function governed by that particular table. AND the actual Windows code reflects the 'registry' approach while the actual Unix code reflects the opposite. These are the known facts. The idea that Windows is no more complex or integrated than other OS's is the real myth that is being perpetrated on the unsuspecting. Your contentions to that end have not a leg to stand on and you should know that. Until MS dramatically updates Windows, building it on a secure, Unix type foundation, they will continue to experience these embarassments!
