For what it's worth...
Security was easy to configure on my Netgear wireless router at home. I don't broadcast the SSID, I use mac registration for wireless, and I'm running WPA (PSK). The router also has a firewall. That's hardly fool-proof, but it should make it tough enough for a "wardriver" to crack my network.

All of the options were pretty easy to configure, and the router interface provided pretty detailed descriptions of what each setting was for (if you want to play online games, enable uPNP, etc.)

just my $0.02...
