Apple not alerted???
Regardless of anyone's stance on open vs. closed source code, I
think the bigger and more important issue is the fact that Apple
wasn't alerted. For a security firm to find the flaw in JUNE, alert a
private list of customers (only God knows who these people are)
and NOT alert Apple so they can try to fix the problem is
unprofessional.

I could understand if they alerted Apple in June and gave them
time to put out a fix before making it public, but they didn't.
Even though there may be a lower chance of anyone being
impacted by these flaws, it is unfair to put ANYONE at risk. I
don't know if this kind of thing has happened to Microsoft, but I
hope it doesn't.
