What they're saying is...
...that SP2 prevents the automatic downloading of the trojan horse. SP2 does indeed do that. But it does not stop people from manually downloading them, or permanently overriding SP2's protection.

So in a sense, the media player is fixed with regards to being a delivery method, so long as one uses good sense. But what they are admitting is that people do not use good sense, and that once a trojan or virus is delivered to their system, regradless of the delivery method, their systems remain vulnerable to those viruses and trojans.
