The guy may be skilled, but he's stupid
Let me start out by saying that no one knows it all at age 22. Or 82.

And even though this kid may be very knowledgeable about writing (and defending against) virii, it seems to me that his reality skills need a little work.

If he truly believes that there's no harm in publishing exploits, then he's an idiot. If he believes it is harmful, then he's just a common criminal. Being the charitable sort that I am, I prefer to think that he's just naive rather than malicious.

Publishing exploits for script kiddies to come along and exploit is a lot like building a bomb. Your hands may be technically "clean" of the inevitable mayhem, but your conscience is not. You've added the opportunity for someone to easily do harm. It's reprehensible.

Would I give him a job? Sure. How about making license plates?
