Don't browse porn sites!!!
It is easy to stay away from getting spyware etc by not going to bad sites (porn, crackz etc) in first the place. If you accidentally go to a site that does produce pops etc close them and got to another site.

Plus only download from Software Download sites like zdnet etc. A lot of Software Download sites have in their reviews if the programs contain spyware, which is great don't install them!!
