I haven't had BSOD since Direct X 8
That BSOD stopped me entirely till 8.1 came out. For some odd reason it would not uninstall.

Another great source of BSODs are Applications written for NT.

Oh yeah then there was the USB problem. That Blue Screened instantly after plugging any usb storage device. Oddly enough you could plug in a USB printer or Keyboard with no problems. There's a patch for this of course and if you aren't running SP 4 you need to apply it.
