Well..
"If Macs are so easy to use, why must you wait until you "get familiar enough"?"

Sure it is easy to use, but how can one automatically know how to do everything having never done it before? For instance, what key is pressed to bring up Expose? What key do you hold down to manipulate windows other than the active window without bringing them to the forefront? Where do you navigate to turn on/off the Mac firewall? Cars are wasy to use troo, but that doesn't mean you automatically know how to drive to Albuquerque?..
