You guys make it too easy. They didn't say that linux got hacked, or even apache. It was a piece of software that they use to maintain the website. That could be one of many things, but it wasn't the OS.

"Company President Hakon Haugnes said the hackers exploited a hole in one of the software packages used to maintain the site"

So, perhaps you might want to read before you flap your gums.
