what secrets? so many are in plain sight
Ah yes, corporate security. Not only does business "claim" they have secrets, they also expect them to stay put on the cheap.

Here's an illustrative story. Some 15 years ago I worked at a famous IT consulting firm. Laser printers were (relatively) pricy back then, so everyone "shared." That meant every employee with a desktop computer sent his/her documents to whatever printer station was available via the LAN and then strolled over later to collect the printouts. On one occasion I rouned up my work only to find a two-page list of the top corporate executives nestled inside that included their six-figure salaries! A real eye-opener in 1990. Yes, we shared printers back then--and a whole lot more--just so accounting could save a few bucks.

Corporate security may be a little more advanced today, but executive stupidities and their penny-pinching policies will probably trump it every time. Then, of course, there are those unsavory characters with an axe to grind and the smarts to chop where its gonna hurt. A new venue for Reality TV, perhaps?
