It is possible, but can companies live with it.
You can stop people who dont have access from walking away with data. The real problem is stopping people who do have access to the data. The problem though comes from making people feel like prisoners when they come and go from work. We have been around for centuries, do you know why? Because when an obsticle stands in our way, we find a way around it eventually. The same holds true with security, you can find a way around it, ESPECIALLY if you work on the inside. Its harder for business because unlike the government, they cant charge you with treason.
