How..I tell you how
They need to stop allowing these "white collar" crimes to dealt with in overly civilized manner. A guy on the street robbing people, who gets caught, is thrown in a real jail do to some time. But these types of crimes are often punished with fines and "day camp" prison, if anything. Papers being served and lawyers in discussions while the perp still lives his normal life. Start making an example out of all of them and toss their sneaky little scared tender butts in a real jail. Slap on the cuffs, throw them county, and make them wait for their bond hearing like all the others. When they are found guilty put them right beside the rapists, burglars, and murderers. Don't hit them with a big fine and/or give them a life of community service. Take away they're privledges and freedoms and let them shower with soap on a rope.

How safe should any of us feel knowing all of our sensative personal info is sitting on a server in some poverty stricken country and a person getting paid peanuts has full access to all of it? Not only hold the individuals criminally responsible but hold the corporations liable, and criminally neglegent, for any and all damages that result from your identity being lifted by some underpaid workerbee who lives half-way around the world. A couple CIOs getting "friendly" with bubba should stop the "passing the buck" mentality that makes a lot of this possible. You can't make them less greedy but you sure can make them suffer for their greed. Make the fear of getting caught be a real nightmare and not just an inconvenience.
