RE: Microsoft Anti Spyware is a decent step in the right direction for now
>>> It is a shame that ALL OSes must depend on some third party app to secure it though. <<<

I am currently using Mandrake 10.1 download edition dual boot with Win98SE. I have used Red Hat Linux, SOT Linux, Vector Linux, Debian Linux, Suse Linux, Deli Linux, Libranet Linux, Redmond Linux, K12LTSP Linux, Fedora Linux, Ice Pack Linux, Alt Linux, and Free BSD. I am not aware of any third party app that was required to secure any of these systems. What third party apps would you recommend for these systems?

I am not trying to start a flame war, nor am I trolling. I am genuinely interested in what you have to say.
