Not completely disagreeing but...
except for the numbers you give the rest is just opinion also. In most articles, security experts would disagree with you. Also Apache has been a big target and used to spread some serious worms. One of the latest attacks the IE browser but is propagated through Apache servers. Do your own searching on the net to find the articles. I know they exist because I've read them. Unfortunately too many people who read ZDNet "articles", only read ZDNet "articles". In many articles that I've read, a common thread is that although MS is more prone to viruses, open-source web servers are more prone to hijacks. I'm not sure what you mean by the "myth" has been dispelled so many times when again, most experts, would completely disagree with you. Again, anyone reading this, just do your poking around. I'm not going to run around to find all the links but a quick search for Apache or Linux worms and some dilligent searching/reading will confirm what I have posted.
