Believe it or not, some people just prefer IE. It's not that FF is a poor product. I think some of the features are interesting (esp. the integrated RSS bookmarks), but as soon as XP SP2 came out, I switched back to IE. For me, the biggest advantage of FF was the pop-up blocker. Once IE included one, there was no compelling reason to use FF (tabbed browsing is not my cup of tea). Actually, IE loads faster and generally renders pages quicker on my machines.

As for spyware, I run Spybot/Ad-Aware and, now, MS Anti-Spyware weekly. I hardly ever find any vulnerabilities, and when I do, they're cookies.
