Apparently it was an application, rather than the OS that was hacked. In this case. But people have been hacking at Linux and its antecedant Unix for 25 years, and they will continue. There have been occasional successes in the past and there will be in the future.

Banks get held up, even the Brinks Company was robbed. The World Trade Towers were toppled. Any security professional will tell you there is no such thing as perfect security - security is measured in the amount of effort required to compromise, not some binary "crackable" vs "uncrackable" measure.

The sun rises in the East. Have we got enough obvious posts?
