You're attempting to combine them into one to defend what you said. I know, you will never admit you're wrong but here's the quote:

It's quite clear that when Open Source needs to have funding to achieve an advance, it will come. This has nothing to do with the rest of your reply, which is true, that Open Source will not and cannot license MS IP and distribute it under GPL.
