Posting personal info
I guess some people will never learn. I mean, it seems to me that the only time a bank (website) needs certain personal information, it is a result of the USER requesting information from the BANK, not the other way around.

Also, if a bank has an important message, it will usually show up when one receives his/her statement -- either printed on the statement itself, or on a separate page.

And if there really and truly is a problem with an account (i.e. suspected fraudulent activity), the respective bank will usually freeze the account first, and the customer would have to call the bank and resolve the issue.

Perhaps some people need to be hypnotized when opening up a new account at a bank...
"We will NEVER ask for personal information online...We will NEVER ask for personal information online...We will NEVER ask for personal information online....." wink
