BWhahaha!! Problems with yer lock-in scheme, Symmie?..
Just too funny! Inconveniences so much more than it sadly attempts to accomplish. We all know that there are other much more effective ways to curb piracy (like stopping price gouging!). The day XP debuted there was already a crack for the lock-i, er, "activation" scheme. I can't see how companies that make billions are that excited about saving money..gimme a break! It is about vendor lock-in, market domination, excessive unconstitutional user tracking, and the underhanded subtle way of introducing rental software. Awww shucks..need to re-install and it's '05? You're gonna have to upgrade son (again!). I have always used symantec but from here on out I am DONE with them..
