Well, yet another study ...

Nobody really believes these studies anymore, most people and corporations tend to make decisions based on their own experiences and the fact that there are so many descepancies between the various reports is only making people more curious about Linux and free software. In the end people want to kick the tires and do their own test drives. And they make their decisions based on the results of their own experiences. Many people end up choosing Windows based on the fact that their favorite software doesn't run on Linux. But more and more will choose Linux based on the fact that in their own experience or the experience of their peers or friends, it is not as vulnerable as Windows. It is personal experience and human interaction that prevail in the end, the studies are only window dressing in the great Windows v Linux competition.
