WinXP SP2

Dumb question.... But isn't Service Pack 2 just Windows XP with a
huge, bloated patch? As someone said, it was released
(inflicted?) in 2001, and they still have huge holes! Gee, you'd
think they would have it right by 2005. Will it be secure by the
time Longhorn is unleashed? I wouldn't hold my breath. In
contrast; ALL major distributors, with a tiny fraction of the
money that is in Redmond, have released at least two full
releases of their products in that time.
It seems you don't have to have money to develop a secure
product. You just need creative coders that are not necessarily
motivated by money.
I will now don my asbestos suit. Flame on.
