See ya proved my point from other stories like this

You cannot monkey proof the world. My post was loaded anyway. I know that the ONLY way to keep a laptop secure is to keep my hands on the thing 24/7. It is like a reformed thief I know told me, "If you can find a place to hide it, I can find the place you hid it."

Our personal information is toted around in laptops by idiots like they are carrying a 12 pack of beer, put it on top of the car and forget it is there. I understand that things happen and things get stolen but this is unconsionable. The people and the bloodbank that allowed the laptop to be stolen should be held liable for any losses incurred by the innocents.

There appears to me to be an attitude of "oh well" when I hear of stories like this. "We will notify people." Oh gee thanks that makes comfortable all ready.
