I *do* use the newest version (phpBB 2.0.11), yet the worm infected my 3 boards.
There should be a law against these damned bots! All the time I catch one crwling over my site in spite of a robots.txt being installed. Only 2 days ago I caught a google bot on my site, ignoring the anti-bot file.

IMO there should a law be made that bots may access only sites where they are explicitly allowed, and drastic punishments should be used against those who violate that rule. Bots violate the privacy of those who do not wish their sites' URLs to be published. Privace, however, is a basic human right.



PS: to all those who programme worms:
I'd be *really* grateful if you guys would program your worms so that they don't strike before I had breakfast!!!
