Not 6 million sites - 6m pages
Hey Reporter / Editor:

~6 million results in Google for a phrase that appears at the bottom of every page of a PHPBB installation DOES NOT EQUAL 6 million sites running PHPBB.

It indicates how many pages are in Google's index, and that suggests a quantity of pages total, but it does not indicate how many sites are running the software. To interpret the number of results this way means that the phrase appears exactly once on each site.

You might want to correct this.
