Lets see, where to start....

Well first off every car I have owned has been error prone, you take it to the mechanic, he charges you your first born and a kidney and away you go, only to bring it back a few days later because it still doens't work. TV, hmm all it does is sit there and show some stuff, not too tough, it goes to crap and you throw it away and get a new one, and bigger, flatter etc. (mmmmm Plasma) oh where was I, oh yes the fridge, once again it just sits there doing only one thing no user ineraction except to open the door and decide what beer to get. A computer is a complex thing, it can do so many things, a tv, a fridge etc. only do one thing and that is sit there and have no user imput. When was the last time you got on internet and paid bills on your tv, or on the refer, exactly never!!! When was the last time you printed out a letter or watched a movie on the refer, hmmm let me guess, never??? So your computer not a toy that just sits there, it is complex and needs some understanding and knowledge, unlike your tv, refer and whatever else you have. I left car out of that one because it is complex, that's why you have someone else work on it. So when you see what is complex and what isn't then you will have your answer, now go grasshopper, and get a book and read; something you can't hurt yourself with. P.O.
