I installed the desktop search feature, but have found it to be remarkably unable to retrieve items consistently. Further, it continues to advise that it is "indexing" over two months since the installation -- and I believe it must be inasmuch as not everything gets found. It may be that this is one of those "an infinite number of monkeys retrieving files on an infinite number of hard drives will, ultimately, get all of the described files. Pass me a banana.
