Patches slapped on serious PHP flaws

Sounds to me like your employers need to fix their Windows installs. Replacing Windows with Linux because your Windows machine has a virus is like replacing your real arm with an artificial one because your real arm hurts when you light it on fire. Maybe a better solution is to not light your arm on fire?
