Don't use win unless I absolutely have to but, when I do, Wordpad a quick way to get rid of formatting in wordprocessor docs when all I need is a simple text file to import into a database.

Yeah, I know, I can save as .txt (.sql, etc) but this is about as quick and it never gives me problems.

Of course, I still prefer *nix*. Can't seem to convince employers of it. Still amazes me at how many crashes, viruses, etc some folks will endure with nary a whimper but seem to flush to a deep purple when the hear the word 'Linux'.
