Anti-spammer Attack
ISPs and governments should take responsibility for ridding the Internet of spammer parasites. In the absence of legislation and effective screening at source, it seems to me that there is a ready made market for some enterprising technical genius to develop and market software (say at the price of anti-virus software) that will effectively block spam. Software that uses Artificial Intelligence is apparently available for corporations, but that still leaves the home owner out. Outlook's primative anti-spam algorithm isn't much use because spammers use random combinations of letters in their e-mail addresses to defeat such simple-minded fixes.

Why should such a useful tool as e-mail be rendered ineffective by free loaders?
