That is why one should always...
Read the EULA (End User Licencing Agreement) and be sure to scrutinize it carefully, which is hard for some people who don't understand the legalese in a EULA.

With much free s/w, once you press "I Agree", they have the explicit right to download whatever that particular peice of free software has for adware/spyware/malware.

Always read the EULA carefully. It saves headaches after you DL a program that DLs **** with it in the long run!

But I guess if more people read & understood the EULA, we wouldn't need as many spyware/adware apps.
