NOW I know why Symantic bought Veritas. With M$ getting into ALL of the "peripheral" Windoze markets, those smaller companies will wither and die! Just the latest for M$ in anti-competitive behavior - leverage their OS co-mingling to destroy ALL tool/add-on vendors. This the the "Embrace" phase, the next phase will be when the 3rd party add-ons stop working well on Windoze because M$ came up with a new "standard" for them. I'll bet that ad-aware will have to change their product majorly - before it will work on LongShot (and they won't be given enough "heads up" time to do it before release). Imagine when vulnerabilities start becoming an issue when you use specific add-ons! Hey, my M$ anti-virus caught that - but McAfee didn't! Haven't we been done this path before?
